Privacy Policy

SocialPST ("we," "our," or "us") is a Chrome extension developed and operated by Wiser5 LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By installing or using SocialPST you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

SocialPST is a product of Wiser5 LLC, based in Florida, United States. If you have questions about this policy you can reach us at hello@wiser5.com.

2. What SocialPST Does

SocialPST is a browser extension that reads the Reddit post and comments visible in your active browser tab and uses that content to generate thoughtful reply suggestions you can review and optionally post on Reddit. The extension does not require your Reddit login credentials and does not interact with the Reddit API on your behalf.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:

• Reddit page content. When you activate SocialPST on a Reddit tab, the extension reads the text of the post title, post body, and visible comments. This content is sent to our servers solely to generate a comment suggestion.
• Billing email address. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you provide an email address during checkout. We use this to identify your account and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• Extension settings. The backend URL and billing email you save in the extension options are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's chrome.storage.sync API.

We do not collect your Reddit username or password, OAuth tokens, browsing history outside of Reddit tabs you explicitly activate SocialPST on, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To generate AI-powered comment suggestions based on the Reddit content you share with us.
• To authenticate your subscription and enforce usage limits.
• To improve the quality and reliability of the service.
• To respond to support inquiries.

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. How We Share Your Information

• AI model providers. The Reddit page content you submit is forwarded to a third-party large language model API to generate a reply suggestion. That provider processes the content under its own data processing agreement with us.
• Payment processor. Stripe processes billing transactions. We share only your email address and transaction details; we never see or store full payment card numbers.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wiser5 LLC, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

Reddit page content submitted to generate a comment suggestion is used to produce that suggestion and is not stored beyond the duration of the request. Billing email addresses are retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter as required for billing records. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at hello@wiser5.com.

7. Data Security

All data transmitted between the extension and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

SocialPST is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of any future marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@wiser5.com. Florida residents may also have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR) where applicable.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

SocialPST operates on Reddit pages. Reddit's own privacy practices are governed by Reddit's Privacy Policy, which is separate from ours.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of SocialPST after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
